1. TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between Looksomething, a branch of 3ds Group and you. The following Agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the products and services made available by Looksomething and of www.looksomething.com website. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, you should refrain from using our services and accessing our website.

LookSomething reserves the right to change or modify the current Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Therefore, we encourage you to review them regularly for any changes.

1.1. Internal & External Link Disclaimer

The present Terms & Conditions contain links to internal pages, within www.looksomething.com domain (e.g Hosting Policy). Both Looksomething and its customers are liable to abide by the terms and conditions that are contained in the content of any internal links as well. What is more, our website contains external links to websites of third parties (e.g. https://www.intercom.com/). As the administration of these websites is not under our control, we cannot assume any responsibility for their content. Therefore, the administrator of such external websites is solely liable for the accuracy of the information provided and any enquires related to their content should be forwarded directly to him. What is more, Looksomething will not assume responsibility for any unexpected changes in the policies of Application Stores (Apple App Store, Google Play and Microsoft App Store) and will adjust its Terms & Conditions accordingly.

2. SUBSCRIPTIONS

Some of Looksomething.com products and services are available through different subscription plans. Plan subscriptions start at the time the payment is received and officially expire 22 days after their exact expiry date.

Looksomething reserves the right to modify or suspend any user subscription in case its Terms & Conditions are violated.

2.1. User Account, Password & Security

Our website's checkout process requires your email in order to be completed. Please note that your email address will be used for further communication; make sure to visit and carefully read our Privacy Policy for more information.

Looksomething is not responsible for any issues that will occur in case the information a user provides are untrue, incomplete or inaccurate.

Moreover, it is the sole responsibility of the user to maintain the confidentiality of their account username and password. Users are also responsible for any activity occurred within their account, thus they should make sure to exit at the end of each session, if they are using a public access point, to prevent unauthorized access or breach of security.

3. OWNERSHIP

All Looksomething.com mobile applications, websites and their source code are solely owned and maintained by Looksomething. Therefore, full access to source code files will not be permitted for any reason. However, partial access to some Admin Control Panel items & files will be granted to ensure that mobile app & website management can be performed by the user. All mobile applications and websites will only remain operational and published as long as a valid and active subscription exist.

Regarding our website solutions, hosting is exclusively provided by Looksomething and cannot be transferred or delivered to any third party.

All information, content and logos on this site are protected by copyright laws, trademark and design rights. Any unauthorized use of them will be considered a violation of Looksomething.com intellectual property rights. No content may be copied, distributed, published or used in any way, in whole or in part, without prior written agreement from Looksomething.

4. PRIVACY POLICY

4.1. Fair use of logos & brand names

By submitting information to Looksomething and having a mobile application or website with us, you agree that we can publish your brand logo & name on our business portfolio. In case you do not wish us to use your logo & brand name then please do let us know by contacting us on live chat or at [email protected].

4.2. Newsletter

Our concern is to keep the content of our newsletters short, precise and relevant. Therefore, our newsletter will only be used for promos and special offers and for important notices regarding your apps. You can easily unsubscribe at any time by clicking the relevant button on the bottom of each newsletter or by accessing your account.

5. LIVE CHAT PROVIDED BY INTERCOM

We use third-party analytics services to help understand your usage of our services. In particular, we provide a limited amount of your information (such as your email address and sign-up date) to Intercom, Inc. (“Intercom”) and utilize it to collect data for analytic purposes when you visit our website or use our products. Intercom analyses your use of our website and/or product and tracks our relationship so that we can improve our service to you. We may also use Intercom as a medium for communications, either through email or through messages within our website. For more information on the privacy practices of Intercom, please click here. 6. PAYMENTS

6.1.Payment Methods

You can choose any of the following payment options:

  • Debit / Credit card via the secure 2Checkout platform

  • PayPal payment via PayPal payment gateway using:
    • Instant PayPal Payment or
    • PayPal ECheck
      Notice that payments via PayPal ECheck are only considered complete when we receive the full amount on our account.

6.2. Successful Payments

A payment is considered complete after we receive the full agreed amount on our accounts. As of now, complete payments will be referred as successful payments.

7. DEVELOPER ACCOUNTS

7.1. Apple

In case the development of an iOS mobile app is included in your purchased plan (iOS Single App, Bundle Apps & Full Pack) you will need to create and maintain your own Apple Developer Account. Consequently, you will need to share access with us so that we can submit your iOS mobile app to your Apple Developer Account.

7.2. Google

In case the development of an Android mobile app is included in your purchased plan (Android Single App, Bundle Apps & Full Pack) you can choose whether we will upload it in your Google Developer Account or ours. If you want to use your own Google Developer Account, you will have to:

  • Share access of your account by sending an invitation to [email protected]
  • Provide Admin Rights to Looksomething.com Google Developer Account
  • Email [email protected] and provide your
    • Google Developer Account email address
    • Google Developer Account name
    • Transaction ID (it can be found in your Google Wallet)

7.3. Microsoft

In case the development of a Windows mobile app is included in your purchased plan (Windows Single App & Bundle Apps & Full Pack), then you can choose whether we will upload it in your Microsoft Developer Account or ours. If you want to use your own Windows Developer Account, you can learn more here.

7.3.1. Windows Apps Naming

To avoid any misunderstandings, as of now Windows 10 applications will sometimes be referred to as Windows applications.

7.4. Communication with Application Stores

In case you receive any emails, warnings or removal notices from any of the application stores please make sure to immediately contact us on live chat or at [email protected] Looksomething is not responsible for any issue that will occur in case you fail to notify us in time about any message that has been communicated by the application stores.

8. PRODUCT DELIVERY

8.1. Mobile Plans (Android, iOS, Windows 10 & Bundle Apps)

As soon as payment is carried out, you will be able to access your account and submit all the required info we need in order to start developing your mobile applications. Please note that in case you have purchased an iOS mobile app you are required to create & maintain your own Apple Developer Account (for more information please head over to Paragraph 7.1). Development starts 7 days after successful payment, in case you submit all the required info within that interval. During that time, you can perform changes to your submitted info by contacting us on live chat or by directly emailing us at [email protected]. If the required info is submitted at a later date (e.g. on the 8th day after the successful payment), development will commence 3 days after the info submission date. You may use that interval to change or modify your submitted info by contacting us on live chat or by directly emailing us at [email protected].

After development starts, no further changes may occur until you gain access to your control panel from where you can dynamically change the look and content of your mobile applications. However, there are certain elements that you cannot change through your Admin Control Panel and can only be modified by our development team. Please refer to Instant Updates (Paragraph 11) for further information on the subject.

Once development begins it will take a maximum of 15 days for your mobile applications to be submitted to application stores. This is only an estimate and submission will most probably occur earlier. Notice that before submitting your mobile apps to application stores we can send screenshots if requested.

Custom work for your mobile apps is not included in the initial price of any of our mobile plans (please refer to Paragraph 17 for more information on the subject).

After submission, your mobile applications will have to be reviewed and approved by Google, Apple and Microsoft. Looksomething is not responsible for the mobile application reviewal procedure & approval time since they are conducted by Google, Apple or Microsoft respectively and mobile applications must follow their own regulations in order to get published. Therefore, the reviewal, approval and publication time for each mobile application may vary. In the event that a mobile application disapproval occurs, Looksomething reviews the reason and after contacting you resubmits the application for approval.

When all your mobile apps are approved and published you will be notified by email that you are able to access your Admin Control Panel, from where you can perform modifications to your apps. Access prior to publication is not granted since any mismanagement can lead to disapproval from one or more application stores.

Looksomething informs you with emails, during each and every step of the mobile application delivery procedure. Therefore providing us with a valid email is essential.

8.2. Website Plans

As soon as payment is carried out, you will be able to access your account and submit all the required info we need in order to start developing your website. Please note that while you can view all the available templates for Universal, Radio & News solutions before checkout you will actually get to choose one after the checkout process, on the info submission form.

Hosting of your domain and developing your website will commence 7 days after successful payment, in case you submit all the required info within that interval. During that time, you can perform changes to your submitted info by contacting us on live chat or by directly emailing us at [email protected]. If the required info is submitted at a later date (e.g. on the 8th day after the successful payment), development will commence 3 days after the info submission date. You may use that interval to change or modify your submitted info by contacting us on live chat or by directly emailing us at [email protected].

After development starts, no further changes may occur until you gain access to your control panel from where you can dynamically change the look and content of your website. However, there are certain elements that you cannot change through your Admin Control Panel and can only be modified by our development team.

Please refer to our Update Policy or head to our Hosting Policy for further information.

After we fully develop your website we will provide you with a Demo URL in order to view and approve it. At this point, you can ask for access to your Admin Control Panel in case you wish to fill your website with content prior to publishing.

Custom work for your website is not included in the initial price of any of our website plans (please refer to Paragraph 17 for more information).

Consequently, we will provide you with our Domain Nameservers (DNS) in order to point your domain name to them so that your website can go live. Expect a propagation time of 24 - 48 hours.

Looksomething informs you with emails, during each and every step of the website delivery procedure. Therefore providing us with a valid email is essential.

8.3. Mobile & Website Plans (Full Pack)

As soon as payment is carried out, you will be able to access your account and submit all the required info we need in order to start developing your project. Since an iOS mobile app is included in your plan you are required to create & maintain your own Apple Developer Account (for more information please head over to Paragraph 7.1). Please note that while you can view all the available templates for Universal, Radio & News solutions before checkout you will actually get to choose one after the checkout process, on the info submission form.

Hosting of your domain and developing your website & mobile applications will commence 7 days after successful payment, in case you submit all the required info within that interval. During that time, you can perform changes to your submitted info by contacting us on live chat or by directly emailing us at [email protected]. If the required info is submitted at a later date (e.g. on the 8th day after the successful payment), development will commence 3 days after the info submission date. Custom work for either your website or mobile applications is not included in the initial price of any of our plans (please refer to Paragraph 17 for more information on the subject).

Looksomething informs you with emails, during each and every step of the website delivery procedure. Therefore providing us with a valid email is essential.

8.3.1. Purchasing Separate Plans

Please mind that in case you wish to purchase different plans for your mobile apps and websites e.g. an iOS Starter Plan & a Website Business Plan or an Android Enterprise and an iOS Network you will receive two separate Admin Control Panels, one for each plan. You will have to get the same subscription plan so that you can control all your applications from the same Admin Control Panel.

8.4. Admin Control Panel Access

Looksomething can distribute up to five (5) usernames/passwords for each Admin Control Panel. Please note that all 5 users will share the same permissions within the Admin Control Panel. You will have to designate a contact person who will be communicating with the Looksomething team and he/ she will be receiving all our Updates & Email Notifications. What is more, that contact person will be responsible for distributing and providing access to the Admin Control Panel and he/ she will bear full responsibility for any changes & modifications (irreversible or not) that will occur by any of the users that have gained access to it. Moreover, he/ she will be responsible for training other users on proper usage of Admin Control Panel. Please note that Authors are completely irrelevant with users and you can create as many as you want from within the Admin Control Panel.

9. REFUND POLICY

To begin with, for each refund request and every enquiry regarding refunds you can reach us on live chat or email us at [email protected].

Refunds for new subscriptions, recurring payments, instant updates, Addons & upgrades will be provided:

  • If a refund is requested within 7 days after a successful payment is made
  • On rare occasions that we deem necessary and fair

Refunds for new subscriptions, recurring payments, instant updates, Addons & upgrades will not be provided:

  • If a refund is requested from the 8th day since a successful payment, onwards
  • In case the mobile application is not approved from application stores due to a fault of the client (e.g. copyrighted graphics, content & data etc.)

Please note, that we do not provide refunds for mobile applications that are not approved by the applications stores for any reason that we are not liable for. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of your refund request.

9.1. Cancellation Policy

In order to cancel your subscription, you will have to submit a “Cancellation Request” for that specific subscription by logging in to your account. Our team will review your request and will get back to you within 2 business days in order to provide you with more info about the cancellation process. Make sure to also cancel any recurring payments by visiting your PayPal account. We will cancel your recurring credid/ debit card payment, if any.

10. RENEWALS & EXPIRATION POLICY

You can easily view and renew all your active and expired subscriptions by visiting your account. Renewals can be manually performed only upon expiration of your subscription, by visiting your account and using any of our payment methods that are mentioned in Paragraph 6.1 or automatically by recurring payments (Paragraph 10.1).

Upon renewal, we will update all your mobile applications and websites, to the latest stable version, if any, without any extra cost. Please note that the renewal process of your mobile application or website will commence 7 days after a successful renewal payment is made. During that interval, you can ask our development team to apply changes to certain elements of your mobile applications or website by contacting us on live chat or by directly emailing us at [email protected]. If those changes are requested at a later date (e.g. on the 8th day after the successful payment), you will have to proceed to an instant update, for a fee. Please refer to Paragraph 11 for more information on the matter.

Once development begins it will take a maximum of 15 days for the renewal procedure to be completed; however, this is only an estimate.

Looksomething is not responsible for any unexpected removal or rejection of your mobile applications by application stores due to Google’s, Microsoft’s or Apple’s policies during the renewal process (e.g. copyright issues).

Both your mobile applications and your website will remain published for 22 days after the expiry of your subscriptions. Looksomething automatically delivers email notifications the day your subscriptions expire and up to 22 days afterwards.

After that interval and if a renewal does not occur:

  • Your website will be unpublished
  • Your mobile applications will be unpublished from all application stores and will become non-functional for all existing app users
  • Any Addons will be removed

What is more, the following message will appear:

  • “We are sorry but this service is not available at the moment.”

You can still get your mobile apps and website back after your subscription expires. In case a renewal payment is made within 4 months after your subscriptions have expired we will republish and update your website & mobile applications to the latest stable version if there is any. If a payment is made after 4 months of your subscriptions’ expiry date then you should also proceed to an Instant Update (the one including Update to the latest version), apart from the renewal payment; please click here to view our Instant Update fees. Looksomething is not responsible for any data loss (partial or total) regarding your mobile applications or website after they are unpublished.

10.1. Recurring Payments

Recurring payments are automatic payments, authorised by you during the checkout process, that allow us to collect the total fees for your subscriptions every year. They are created by making a purchase either via credit/debit card (2Checkout) or PayPal.
When your subscription expires, the renewal cost for that expired subscription is automatically paid by the recurring payment.

PayPal recurring payments are stored in your PayPal account and can be cancelled either by you, at your PayPal Merchant Account or by contacting us on live chat or at [email protected] In case you have used debit/credit card during your checkout (2Checkout) recurring payments can only be cancelled by contacting us.

11. INSTANT UPDATES

At any time during your subscription, you can request certain changes on specific elements of your mobile applications or website. Those elements are the following:

A. Mobile Apps

  • Application Store Icon
  • Application Store Name
  • Application Store Description
  • Application Store Screenshots
  • Apple App Store Keywords (only for iOS apps)
  • Update to the latest stable version

B. Website

  • Switching email servers
  • Changing Domain Name
  • Update to the latest stable version

The above elements can be modified only by our development team:

  • Before mobile application and website development commences
  • Anytime during your subscription with an Instant Update, for a fee
  • Yearly, when your subscription is renewed, for free.

In case you wish to update to the latest version or change any of the above elements at any time during your subscription (except when you renew it) you will have to proceed to an Instant Update, for a fee. You can purchase an Instant Update by logging into your account. There are two types of instant updates the first one including changes to the app whereas the second one includes updating to the latest version with all the available fixes and features along with changes to the app. You can view our Instant Update fees and more details on the matter by clicking here.

After completing the “Instant Update” payment you should log in to your account and submit the relevant form with any desired changes. Updating your mobile application or website will commence 7 days after a successful payment, in case you submit your required modifications within that interval. During that time, you can perform changes to your submitted info by submitting the form again. If your required modifications are submitted at a later date (e.g. on the 8th day after the successful payment), updating will commence 3 days after the info submission date. Again, you may use that interval to change or modify your submitted info. Once development begins it will take a maximum of 15 days for the requested changes to be completed; however, this is only an estimate. Your mobile applications and website will not be unpublished for the whole duration of the update.

Notice that after an Instant Update is purchased each mobile application needs to be resubmitted, reviewed and re-approved by application stores. Looksomething is not responsible for any unexpected removal or rejection of your mobile applications by application stores due to Google’s, Microsoft’s or Apple’s policies during the instant update process (e.g. copyright issues).

What is more, Looksomething is not responsible for any malfunction that results from the release of new Android, iOS & Windows version or from an update on internet browsers. In order to fix such issues, you should update to the latest stable version by firstly checking our changelog or contacting us on live chat or at [email protected] in order to ensure that a fix for your issue has been included on our latest version.

12. UPGRADES

You can upgrade your plan at any time by visiting your account. Our system automatically calculates the final payable upgrade amount by taking into account the price of your current plan, the price of the plan you are upgrading to and the remaining time until the renewal of your current subscription.

Your mobile applications or website will be upgraded to the selected plan and updated to the latest stable version, if any, without them being unpublished during that process. Please note, that upgrading your subscription will commence 7 days after we receive a successful payment. Once the upgrade begins it will take a maximum of 15 days for the requested changes to be completed; however, this is only an estimate and it might be completed earlier.

On the other hand, you cannot proceed to a downgrade manually; therefore you will have to reach us on live chat or email us at [email protected] in order to do so. Notice that no refunds will be given in case a downgrade takes place.

15. ADDONS

Addons are extra features you can add to your mobile application or website at any time in order to increase their functionality. Just like any of our plans they have a purchase and an annual renewal fee and can be easily viewed and activated by visiting your account. They are not sold separately and they require an active Mobile or Website subscription.

Please note, that updating your mobile application or website with an Addon will commence 7 days after a successful payment is made. Once that process begins it will take a maximum of 15 days for it to be completed; however, this is only an estimate and Addons might be activated earlier. In case your new Addon requires the submission of additional info you can visit the relevant section of your account.

In case you wish to deactivate an Addon you can file a cancellation request from within your account. Otherwise, you can reach us on live chat or email us at [email protected]

*Extra Language Addon: If it is not renewed and therefore deactivated, all translations might be lost and will have to be made again by the user.

16. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS SERVICE

Push Notifications Addon allows you to send messages to your website visitors and mobile app users. Feel free to view our Web Push Notifications & Mobile Push Notifications articles for more information.

You have full control and responsibility for the content you publish and deliver. If you use push notifications to share content, then you agree that anyone receiving it can use it in any way. When you give others access to content, you grant them free and non-exclusive permission to use, reproduce, distribute, display and communicate it to the public along with any other products or services made available by push notifications. If you don’t want others to have those rights then you should abstain from using push notifications to share your content.

Push notifications service does not provide any guarantees on push notification delivery. Push notifications that expire before being delivered are not considered a failed delivery. Lastly, our Push notifications service is not a stand-alone service and can only be purchased if you have already bought any of our website or mobile application plans.

17. CUSTOM WORK

Custom work is not included in the initial price of any of our plans and all built-in features and Addons are thoroughly explained in our Help Center. For example, any request, that includes coding or programming can be considered custom work.

Since all our websites and mobile applications are in a “what you see is what you get” basis you can get a feel for their look by visiting our extensive portfolio where you can freely download any of our Android, iOS & Windows 10 mobile applications or view any of our published websites, at your convenience. 

However, we encourage and appreciate feedback and any requests made will be seriously considered for future releases and updates.

18. RESELLERS

Looksomething.com white label reseller program allows individuals and companies to resell all our services and products under their own brand at any price they want.

To begin with, anyone wishing to join our reseller program needs to get our reseller plan for a 199€ one-time fee by visiting our Resellers page. This entitles you to your personal 25% discount on all our plans (mobile apps, websites, Addons, instant updates, upgrades & renewals) and gives you the right to sell our solutions.

Please note that you will need to create & maintain your own Developer Accounts on Apple, Google & Microsoft so that your brand will be visible as the developer on each and every one of our mobile apps. What is more, in order to upload and submit your mobile applications to your Developer Accounts you will need to provide Looksomething with access to them.

After purchasing our Reseller plan and creating your Developer Accounts, you will be eligible to sell our website and mobile solutions at any price you want, to virtually everyone in the world without any restrictions, under your own brand.

19. WEBSITE TEMPLATES

Looksomething has designed and provides you with some of the most unique and creative website templates. What is more, we will keep adding templates for all 3 solutions regularly.

Please note that while you can view all the available templates for Universal, Radio & News solutions before checkout you will actually get to choose one after the checkout process, on the info submission form.

What is more, you can change your template anytime by visiting your account and purchase a new one for 190€. The re-design of your website will commence 7 days after a successful payment is made.

20. LANGUAGE & CURRENCY

The defined language in www.looksomething.com and all our products, services and communications is English. Therefore, all product and service information is based in English and NOT in any other language. Thus, our mobile applications and websites do not support right-to-left languages. What is more, all our prices are displayed in EURO (€).

All prices are excluding VAT; VAT will be automatically calculated during checkout when you select your country of residence and shall be displayed separately on the invoice.

22. SUPPORT

Looksomething provides technical support for all its services & products via live chat or by email at [email protected] In case you have membership, billing or pricing enquiries use our live chat or email us at [email protected] Furthermore, you can visit our Help Center at any time for any questions you might have. Please note that we respond to all email requests within 2 business days. Last but not least, we do not provide any technical support via Social Media Networks.

23. Legal Disputes

For any legal conflicts, disputes and demands the Law Court will be designated by Looksomething.
